    Xiaozhen's Story, a musical by The Church of Almighty God, has been the object of much attention and praise since its 2015 release, winning multiple awards at international film festivals. In October 2017, the film received nine awards at the Virginia Christian Film Festival, including best director, best feature film, and best musical score. Xiaozhen's Story once again stood out at the US KaPow Intergalactic Film Festival, winning the award for the best foreign experimental feature. On October 1, 2017, the three-day Christian Family Film Festival in Ellington, New York came to a close. The full human rights documentary produced by The Church of Almighty God, Chronicles of Religious Persecution in China, stood out from the crowd among a number of the films shown, winning the silver medal. In this year’s film festival, 28 excellent submissions were selected, with films from many countries including England, the US, France, Korea, and Bulgaria. On December 7, 2017, the International Society for Human Rights (ISHR), headquartered in Frankfurt, Germany, held a news conference in Cologne on the Current Situation of Human Rights in China. The Church of Almighty God Draws Attention on the 1st Mondoreligioni Religious and Cultural Exchange

    From December 7 to 9, 2017, the first Mondoreligioni - Incontriamo le Religioni del Mondo (Meet the World Religions), an activity of religious and cultural exchange, was held in Rome's Città dell'Altra Economia, jointly organized by the Associazione Italiana di Sociologia (Italian Sociology Association), the magazine Confronti, and EPOS. The event was focused on furthering cultural exchanges between various religions in Italy, increasing mutual understanding and respect, and promoting social stability and progress. Catholic, Christian, Muslim, and other religious groups attended this event along with representatives from Italian academia, news outlets, and local students. Notably, The Church of Almighty God was also invited to participate in the event. Lively discussions were held regarding issues faced by immigrants to Europe.
